Xiaomi Bangladesh distributed umbrellas among traffic police across the country
Xiaomi Bangladesh has taken the initiative of distributing umbrellas among the traffic police members working in different parts of the country. The implementation of this program has started from the afternoon of August 13. On this day, Xiaomi Bangladesh officials distributed umbrellas at various important traffic intersections including Gulshan-1 Circle, Gulshan-2 Circle and Banani 11 in Dhaka.
As a part of ongoing communal harmony and social responsibility, a total of 800 umbrellas will be distributed among the traffic policemen at all major roads and shopping malls in Dhaka, Chittagong, Khulna, Barisal, Mymensingh, Sylhet and North Bengal, the organization said.
In this regard, Xiaomi Bangladesh Country Manager, Ziauddin Chowdhury said, “At Xiaomi, we deeply value contributing to the community, and supporting those who work tirelessly in public service. Distribution of these umbrellas is a way of expressing solidarity with the traffic policemen and students who work hard every day to ensure safety and order in our country."
